Man shot to death in southwest Vegas

A man is dead following an early Thursday morning shooting in the southwest valley, Las Vegas police said.
A neighbor who heard kicking and banging on a door followed by four shots called police to the 8300 block of Lower Trailhead Avenue, near Blue Diamond Road and South Durango Drive, at 12:20 a.m.
Police said they found a man in his early 20s dead on an upstairs floor.
The door had been kicked open, police said.
There were no witnesses and a suspect had not been identified as of Thursday morning.
