Man wounded in North Las Vegas shooting early Monday

A man was hospitalized after a shooting in North Las Vegas early Monday morning.

Police responded to the shooting near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Alexander Road about 12:40 a.m., North Las Vegas police officer Ann Cavaricci said. Responding officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, she said.

No suspects are in custody in connection with the shooting, Cavaricci said.
