Plane-spotters will have to find another place to gaze at jetliners headed in and out of McCarran International Airport on Tuesday.

The airport’s viewing lot on Sunset Road will be closed from noon to 11 p.m. as crews install new trash cans, airport spokeswoman Christine Crews said. The lot must be vacated for safety, because heavy equipment will be used to remove the old trash cans.
