The man killed when his motorcycle struck a car in North Las Vegas Monday evening has been identified by the Clark County coroner.

Sinhue Reyes, 23, of North Las Vegas was driving his motorcycle west on Craig Road about 5:30 p.m. when a Ford Mustang traveling east on Craig attempted to make a turn onto north Fifth Street. Witnesses say Reyes was traveling at a high rate of speed when he collided with the Mustang, according to a release from North Las Vegas police.

Reyes was taken to University Medical Center where he died from his injuries, the release says.

The driver and passenger in the Mustang remained on scene and were not taken to the hospital.
