The motorcyclist who died after colliding with a sedan Tuesday morning has been identified by the Clark County coroner's office.
He is 47-year-old Sheldon Cooper, staff said Thursday morning.
Cooper was northbound on Jones Boulevard, approaching Sheila Avenue, near Cheyenne Avenue, just after 6:30 p.m. when he struck the side of a 1994 Toyota Corolla, police said.
After being ejected from the motorcycle, he slid across Jones into the southbound lanes, where he and his bike, a 2003 Suzuki GSX-R1000, were struck by a 2004 Honda Civic.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
