A pedestrian was injured Friday morning in a hit-and-run accident near South Eastern and East Reno avenues, Las Vegas police said.

Officers responded shortly before 9 a.m. to the accident.

Police said they found the vehicle in the area and were trying to locate the driver.

The pedestrian was taken to University Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries.
