Pedestrian killed in east valley crash identified

A 26-year-old Las Vegan pedestrian killed in an east valley crash late Saturday night has been identified by the Clark County coroner's office as Sammy Robledo.
While crossing Boulder Highway, from west to east, near Tropicana Avenue at 11:46 p.m., Robledo entered the path of southbound traffic, which had a green light, Metro said in a news release.
He was struck by a 2014 Fiat 500L, driven by a 35-year-old man.
Robledo died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Metro said.
This marked the 78 traffic-related fatality in Metro's jurisdiction in 2015.
