Police looking for men, teen in October robbery

A robbery in the northeast valley in October began when a man asked to use another man's cell phone, Las Vegas police said.

Now Metro is looking for three people involved in robbing the man.

Officers were called shortly before 10 p.m. to the 1900 block of North Nellis Boulevard, near the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard, on Oct. 16.

A man told police he was approached by a green Nissan sedan as he exited a business. A man in the car asked to use his cell phone and another man came up from behind him and took his wallet. The robber got inside the car before the men fled.

Two men and a boy in the car, which was either a Sentra or Altima, were described by Metro as being Hispanic.

The first man is about 18 years old, stands about 6 feet tall and weighs about 180 pounds, police said. He wore jeans, a black T-shirt and a black Pittsburgh Steelers cap.

The second man is about 20 years old and stands about 5 feet 9 inches and weighs about 150 pounds. He wore blue shorts, a black tank top T-shirt and a blue Los Angeles Dodgers baseball cap.

The boy is described as being about 15 years old, police said. He wore a white T-shirt.
