Police looking for suspects in robbery near Rainbow, Cheyenne

Las Vegas police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men they said committed a robbery in the northwest valley Sunday morning.

About 10:25 a.m., the suspects robbed a business in the area of Rainbow and Cheyenne. Police said the men acted like customers then punched the clerk, grabbed merchandise and fled the store.

Police dispatch logs place the robbery at or near a Radio Shack in the Cheyenne Commons shopping center, located at 3119 N. Rainbow Blvd.

Police describe one of the men as between 25 and 35 years old, standing about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, dark blue jean shorts and black shoes.

The other man is described as being about the same age, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light blue, button-down shirt with light blue jean shorts and black-and-white shoes.
