Police search for man in bank robbery

Las Vegas police are seeking the public’s help in locating a man connected with a bank robbery inside of a grocery store near Eastern Avenue and Windmill Lane.
The robbery occurred on Sept. 15 at the Smith’s located on 2385 E. Windmill Lane about 6:20 p.m.
Police say the robber briefly spoke with a bank teller and then stepped away to take a phone call. He came back to the teller and gave her a note demanding money. The man left the store after receiving the money. The amount of money stolen was not immediately available.
The robber is described to be a white adult male with a lazy eye, about 35 years old, weighing about 280 pounds and about 6 feet 3 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a blue Texans ball cap, blue polo shirt with a thin stripe, in a pair of blue jeans, tennis shoes and a Bluetooth earpiece in his right ear.
