Police seek car in connection with shooting near Sunset, Grand Canyon
A person was critically wounded and Metro is looking for a red sports car connected to a southwest valley shooting Sunday morning, police say.
Metro Lt. Jeff Goodwin said emergency crews were dispatched about 9 a.m. to the 9700 block of Hanover Grove Avenue, near the intersection of West Sunset Road and South Grand Canyon Drive.
The person, only described as an adult, was taken to University Medical Center where he or she was listed in critical, but stable condition, Goodwin said. Further description of the sports car was not available.
Details on what led to the shooting or shooter descriptions were also not immediately available Sunday afternoon.
