Police seek information in fatal Friday stabbing

A fatal stabbing Friday night at a central valley home resulted from a fight, according to Las Vegas police.
Metro officers were called about 8:40 p.m. Friday to 704 Adams Avenue, northeast of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Bonanza Road, where they found a man who had been stabbed, Metro Lt. Kendell Bell said Friday night.
The man was taken to University Medical Center where he died, police said.
The man had been with a group of people near the street when an argument escalated to a physical fight, police wrote in a release Saturday. The man who was stabbed fell to the ground and the group of people fled on foot.
Police said the man they are looking for was wearing dark pants and a white T-shirt at the time of the stabbing. The motive for the stabbing is unknown, the release said.
This is the 114th homicide in Metro's jurisdiction this year.
