Sahara at Decatur reopens after suspicious package probe
Sahara Avenue between Arville Street and Decatur Boulevard was closed for about two hours Monday while Las Vegas police investigated a “suspicious package.”

Sahara Avenue between Arville Street and Decatur Boulevard was closed for about two hours Monday while Las Vegas police investigated a “suspicious package.”
Buildings in the area were evacuated after a call came in about 8:30 a.m. from a business in the 4500 block of Sahara, officer Michael Rodriguez said.
Metro’s ARMOR responded and determined everything was safe about 11:25 a.m.
Las Vegas police did not provide further details about the package.
