Shooting victim hospitalized in Las Vegas

One person was hospitalized after being shot in the northeast valley Tuesday morning, Las Vegas police said.
Officers were called to the 2900 block of Juniper Hills Boulevard, near Vegas Valley Drive and South Nellis Boulevard, about 11:15 a.m., police said.
The person, who was shot once, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, police said.
