Third person rescued at Red Rock Canyon

Hours after rescuing two people Friday morning at Red Rock National Conservation Area, Las Vegas police Search and Rescue airlifted a third person who fell while climbing at the park, police said.
Crews responded to the Calico Hills Overlook area at 12:12 p.m. after police received calls saying an injured climber was stuck in a ravine.
Search and Rescue officers flew the man, in his 20s, to safety and he was taken to University Medical Center with injuries police said were not life-threatening.
Earlier Friday, Search and Rescue flew out to White Rock Canyon at 7:12 a.m., Metro spokesman Larry Hadfield said.
A helicopter picked up two people at 9:20 a.m., he said. They were taken to Southern Hills Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening injuries.
