Three people rescued from Mount Charleston’s Robber’s Roost trail

Three people were rescued from Mount Charleston’s Robber’s Roost trail on Wednesday night, Las Vegas police said.

The hikers were in their early 20s and were rescued from the 0.7-mile trail about 10 p.m., Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Charles Jenkins said.

They were not injured but rather “disoriented and lost,” Jenkins said. The temperature at the time of their rescue was in the mid-20s, according to the National Weather Service.

All three were hoisted out of the trail area by Metro’s search and rescue unit’s helicopter, and Jenkins said all were in good condition.
