Two pedestrians hospitalized after taxicab crash at McCarran airport

Two people were hospitalized after a crash involving two taxicabs Sunday evening at McCarran International Airport.

Las Vegas police and fire crews show dispatch reports of an injury crash around 8:20 p.m. at 5757 Wayne Newton Blvd.

The crash happened at Terminal 3, in the taxicab loading area of the airport, according to McCarran International Airport spokeswoman Christine Crews.

Two pedestrians and two taxi cabs were involved, she said. Metro police and medical crews responded, the pedestrians were taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center.
