Vegas police seek clues in stabbing death

Las Vegas police said Tuesday they are looking for leads on a homicide that happened earlier in the year when a man’s body appeared in a flood control channel near B Street and Owens Avenue.

On April 15, officers were called to the channel, about 300 yards north of B and Owens. The body of Michael Trudeau, 44, was found decomposing, police said.

Trudeau was apparently stabbed, police said in April.

Detectives are seeking information from anyone who might have encountered Trudeau in early April, when he was last seen alive, police said.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police at 702-828-3521 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 and www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
