Woman hit by car in Wal-Mart parking lot identified
The woman who died after being hit by a car in a Wal-Mart parking lot Friday afternoon was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office on Saturday.
Michelle Villenave, 69, from Las Vegas, was in the parking lot, 6005 S. Eastern Ave., near Russell Road, about 3:30 p.m. A 2014 Hyundai Elantra, driven by a 54-year-old woman, hit her, Las Vegas police said.
Villenave died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical center a short while after, police said.
The driver remained on the scene while Metro’s fatal detail investigated, police said.
