Woman in critical condition after North Las Vegas shooting
A woman was critically wounded and a man was arrested in a North Las Vegas shooting Monday afternoon, police said.
The woman, who was shot at least once, was taken to University Medical Center in critical condition, said officer Aaron Patty of North Las Vegas police.
Officers and a medical crew were called about 1:30 p.m. to the 2300 block of Plumeria Avenue, near the intersection of Losee and Lone Mountain roads, according to logs of the North Las Vegas Fire Department.
A man was detained, but it wasn‘t immediately clear if he was the shooter.
