Woman shot in leg in southwest valley
A woman was hospitalized and a man was arrested after a Saturday morning shooting at Russell Road near South Fort Apache Road.
Las Vegas police responded to a domestic violence call in the 9200 block of Russell Road at 6:38 a.m., Lt. James Mizusaki said.
When they arrived, police found a woman who was shot at least one time in the leg area, Mizusaki said.
The woman was taken to University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man, who wasn’t immediately identified, was arrested, Mizusaki said.
