Woman struck by car near Civic Center and Las Vegas Boulevard
A woman was hospitalized Thursday evening after she got hit by a car at the intersection of Civic Center Drive and Las Vegas Boulevard, according to North Las Vegas police.
It happened just before 5:45 p.m., according to police spokesman Officer Steven Weise. Police couldn’t confirm whether she was in a crosswalk, but based on preliminary investigation she appeared to be the “at-fault party,” Weise said.
The woman was taken to University Medical Center with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, Weise said.
The driver of the car was not arrested, Weise said.
