2 juveniles dead after multivehicle crash on I-15 north of Las Vegas

Two children died after a multivehicle crash northeast of Las Vegas on Sunday afternoon, according to a Nevada Highway Patrol news release.
The crash on northbound Interstate 15, near mile marker 100 and Carp Elgin Road, involved multiple vehicles.
Troopers arrived at the 3:28 p.m. crash near Moapa Valley to find the two juveniles who died.
Five other people were injured, including one person who was in critical condition and airlifted by Mercy Air, according to the release. The four others who were injured were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the release stated.
Motorists heading northbound on I-15 north of Las Vegas faced delays of as long as two hours Sunday night. All travel lanes were reopened shortly after 2 a.m. Monday, according to NHP.
