Above-normal temperatures are expected until midweek in the Las Vegas Valley, the National Weather Service said.

The average temperature for this time of year in the valley is 56 degrees.

Monday shows a forecast high of 58, the weather service said. Tuesday’s high of 62 degrees will be followed by a 64-degree high on Wednesday. A cold front will begin to move through the valley late Wednesday, the weather service said, bringing with it highs near 51 degrees on Thursday and Friday.

Winds on Wednesday could gust between 20 and 30 mph, the weather service said. Gusts could reach higher than 30 mph on Thursday.
