Temps in the 60s expected Wednesday, Thursday in Las Vegas Valley

Thursday in the valley will be warmer than usual despite a chance of showers, the National Weather Service said.

Thursday’s forecast high should reach 64 degrees. A 20 percent chance of rain in the afternoon will be paired with mostly cloudy skies and 10 to 20 mph winds, the Weather Service said.

Precipitation is not forecast for Friday, meteorologist Jim Harrison said, but Sunday night carries a 20 percent chance of showers before rising to 50 percent Monday morning.

The Weather Service expects Friday’s high temprature to reach 51 degrees; Saturday, 54 degrees; and Sunday, 59 degrees. The valley will have mostly cloudy skies through the end of the week except for Friday, “our nice day,” Harrison said.
