Roundup: Desert Oasis wins in overtime in Oregon

The Desert Oasis girls basketball team allowed a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to end regulation, but rebounded to defeat Marist Catholic (Oregon) in the extra frame Thursday in the Nike Interstate Shootout at Lake Oswego, Oregon.

Eliyjah Pricebrooks led the Diamondbacks with 15 points, including a 3-pointer in overtime. Dajaah Lightfoot had 14 points and 11 rebounds for Desert Oasis.

The Diamondbacks led 31-23 at halftime.

Lauren Eagan led Marist Catholic with 20 points.

St. Ignatius (Calif.) 68, Faith Lutheran 35 — At San Francisco, Kendall Larson and Ellery Wilson each scored nine points in the Crusaders’ loss to the Wildcats in the West Coast Jamboree.

Georgia Madden scored 10 for the Wildcats, and Diary Khin and Tatiana Newsome each had 10 points.

Arbor View 50, Fortuna (Calif.) 49 — At San Francisco, the Aggies defeated the Huskies in the West Coast Jamboree.

Long Beach Poly (Calif.) 61, Bishop Gorman 41 — At San Diego, the Gaels could not top the Jackrabbits in the So Cal Holiday Prep Classic.

San Juan (Utah) 44, Lincoln County 36 — At Cedar City, Utah, Bodell Nielson scored 11 points to lead the Broncos by the Lynx in the Steve Hodson Cancer Classic.
