Roundup: Desi-Rae Young powers Desert Oasis to finals of Oregon tournament

Desi-Rae Young scored 16 points for the Desert Oasis girls basketball team Friday to send the Diamondbacks past Oregon City (Oregon) 47-35 in the semifinals of the Nike Interstate Shootout in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
Desert Oasis plays in the championship game Saturday at 7 p.m.
Eliyjah Pricebrooks had 11 points for the Diamondbacks, who out-scored Oregon City 15-6 in the third quarter.
Kaari Guelsdorf led Oregon City with 16 points.
Moreau Catholic (Calif.) 55, Faith Lutheran 45 — At San Francisco, Kendall Larson scored a team-high 11 points for the Crusaders in a losing effort in the West Coast Jamboree.
Faith Lutheran attempted 14 free throws, while Moreau Catholic got to the foul line 43 times.
Amador Valley (Calif.) 51, Arbor View 38 — At San Francisco, the Aggies fell to the Dons in the West Coast Jamboree.
Mission Hills (Calif.) 54, Bishop Gorman 41 — At San Diego, the Gaels dropped a decsion to the Grizzlies in the So Cal Holiday Prep Classic.
