RECRUITING: Las Vegas receiver Zanin-Banks chooses Air Force

Las Vegas High wide receiver Aaron Zanin-Banks made an oral commitment to Air Force on Friday.

Zanin-Banks' commitment is nonbinding, and the first day he can sign a letter of intent is Wednesday. Air Force's coaches cannot comment until that time.

Zanin-Banks led Southern Nevada with 72 receptions for 1,159 yards, and he was second in the valley with 15 touchdown catches. The 5-foot-11, 168-pound senior was a first-team all-state selection as he helped the Wildcats go 6-5 and reach the Sunrise Region semifinals.

In December, Zanin-Banks was the offensive player of the game at the 43rd West Charleston Lions Club Charity All-Star Football Game, making five receptions for 128 yards.
