Roundup: Foothill beats Desert Oasis on a penalty kick

Arianna Vigil scored the match’s lone goal on a penalty kick Monday to lead Foothill’s girls soccer team to a 1-0 road victory over the Diamondbacks in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Darrien Sclafani had eight saves in the first half for Foothill, and Felicity Reimann had seven saves in the second half to complete the shutout.

Coronado 2, Palo Verde 1 — At Palo Verde, Leili Rosenberg and Alexis Pashales each scored in the Cougars’ victory over the Panthers in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Taryn Philips scored for Palo Verde.

Centennial 1, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Green Valley, Quincy Bonds scored in the first half as the Bulldogs edged the Mustangs in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Goalkeepers Keyla Alba and Amaya Pidsosny combined on the shutout.

Bishop Gorman 2, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Gorman, Ashtyn Fink and Gianna Gourley each had goals to lead the Gaels over the Crusaders.

Maggie Shuirman scored for Faith Lutheran.

Las Vegas 1, Silverado 1 — At Silverado, Veronica Eslava scored in the 67th minute to give the Wildcats a draw against the Skyhawks.

Sydni Bishop opened the scoring with a goal in the 49th minute for the Skyhawks.

Liberty 4, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Palo Verde, Raelean Sutton had six saves to earn the shutout as the Patriots topped the Trojans in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Lela Gi had a goal and an assist for Liberty. Alexa Bailey, Mia Edwards and Makenna Ciska each added a goal for the Patriots.

Sierra Vista 4, Desert Pines 0 — At Desert Oasis, Amani Felipe scored two goals to lead the Mountain Lions to a victory over the Jaguars in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Sierra Vista’s Taylor Puckett added a goal and an assist, and Janessi Diaz also scored one goal.

Spring Valley 2, JV Green Valley 2 — At Green Valley, Daniela Carballo had a goal and an assist in the Grizzlies’ draw with the JV Gators in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Mackenzie Carcelli also scored for the Grizzlies.

Valley 8, Chaparral 0 — At Valley, Georgia Gardner had four goals as the Vikings routed the Cowboys.

Daniella Zamudio-Parra, Erica Baltazar, Alexandra Miranda and Brittney Perez each added a goal for the Vikings.

Sasha Ceneno had three saves in Valley’s shutout.

Clark 2, Canyon Springs 0 — At Green Valley, the Chargers defeated the Pioneers by forfeit in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.
