Roundup: Isabella Sama’s four goals lift Eldorado

Isabella Sama notched four goals for Eldorado’s girls soccer team to lead the Sundevils to a 7-2 home victory over Desert Pines on Friday.

Angelica Lamas also scored two goals and Mia Ostler had a goal and two assists for the Sundevils.

Brenda Andrade scored both goals for the Jaguars.

Tech 2, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Tech, the Roadrunners scored two unanswered goals in the second half as they defeated the Miners.

Tech’s Alysia Mestas and Emily Sepulveda each scored a goal.

Irlanda Osuna-Arcineda scored the lone goal for the Miners.

Legacy 2, Rancho 1 — At Legacy, Gabriella Lancaster and Isabella Skrinjaric each scored to power the Longhorns over the Rams.

Marlene Godoy scored for Rancho.

Green Valley 7, Western 0 — At Green Valley, Devyn Parsons scored two goals and added two assists as the Gators routed the Warriors.

Green Valley’s Ryan Sabol, Maggie Bender, Sydney Ballard and Kayley Englund each scored a goal, and Lianna Soifua had a goal and an assist.

Goalkeeper’s Ryan Sabol and Maggie Ballard combined for the shutout.

Pahrump Valley 1, Elko 0 — At Spring Creek, Alyvia Briscoe made eight saves in the Trojans’ victory against the Indians in the Spring Creek Tournament.

Beatrice Favella scored for Pahrump Valley.

Coronado 4, Elko 0 — At Spring Creek, Alysa Caso had a hat trick and an assist in the Cougars’ victory over the Indians.

Hailey Musey scored for Coronado, and Taylor Book made three saves in the shutout.

Coronado 7, Pahrump Valley 1 — At Spring Creek, seven Cougars scored a goal in a rout over the Trojans.

Coronado’s Makenna Curcuru, Caso, Mackenzie Malia, Kaitlyn Kowalchuk, Cleste Kiernan, Payton Sak and Brooke Royalnance all scored, and Jensen Boman had two assists.

Kaylee Mendoza scored the Trojans’ goal.

Shadow Ridge 9, Equipo Academy 0 — At Spring Creek, Kaitlyn Banks and Cassandra Tolton scored twice as the Mustangs buried the Yeti in the Spring Creek Tournament.

Camryn Grant had a goal and an assist for the Mustangs, and Alyssa Belcher, Aubree Neal, Tieg Simmons and Brianna Martinez all scored.

Simmons, Tolton and Joey Wright combined on Shadow Ridge’s shutout.

Shadow Ridge 5, Spring Creek 1 — At Spring Creek, Belcher scored twice as the Mustangs beat the Spartans in the Spring Creek Tournament.
