Roundup: Madison Boyce leads Durango over Bonanza

Durango pitcher Madison Boyce tossed a complete game and supplied two hits and two RBIs as the Trailblazers’ softball team claimed an 8-5 road victory at Bonanza on Wednesday.

Keely Thompson went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI, and Kaitlin Fazendin added three hits and an RBI for Durango.

Trinity Valentine chipped in with two RBIs for the Trailblazers, who scored four runs in the top of the sixth inning.

Carla LaRosa hit two doubles, and Sara Riley had two hits and two RBIs for Bonanza.

Las Vegas 8, Eldorado 2 — At Eldorado, Nicole Forrest homered twice, and Skylar Gorrell tossed a complete game with seven strikeouts as the Wildcats topped the Sundevils.

Forrest smacked a three-run home run in the third, and added a solo homer in the seventh for Las Vegas.

Adriana Romero had an RBI single for Eldorado.

Coronado 11, Silverado 1 — At Coronado, Tatum Spangler fired a five-inning one-hitter and was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs as the Cougars defeated the Skyhawks.

Tori Jones, Ashley Ward, and Alyana Lopez each had two hits and an RBI for Coronado, which put up a five-run second inning to take control.

Meleah Rivera supplied a hit and a run to lead Silverado.

Foothill 15, Canyon Springs 3 — At Foothill, Jocelyn Shupp had four RBIs and three runs to lead the Falcons over the Pioneers.

Adrienne Higgins tripled for the Falcons, and teammate Alyssa Waldron had a double.

Victoria Spivey hit a double for Canyon Springs.

Rancho 18, Valley 5 — At Rancho, Kaitlyn Suarez smacked a bases-loaded triple, and winning pitcher Liliana Gutierrez went 3-for-3 with a double, triple, and two RBIs as the Rams overpowered the Vikings in five innings.

Gianna Carosone and Yvette Sanchez each had two hits and two RBIs, and Samantha Paiva went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI for Rancho.

Gabriella Morales hit a bases-loaded triple for Valley, and teammates Zahria Candler and Brandee Whitfield each supplied two hits.

Desert Oasis 15, Spring Valley 0 — At Desert Oasis, Jaid Riana Raval was 3-for-3 with a triple, a double and four RBIs to power the Diamondbacks over the Grizzlies in three innings.

Meghan McInerney hit a double, and Holly Severance and Maggie Shepard both went 2-for-3 for Desert Oasis.

Paisley Garcia pitched a one-hitter for the Diamondbacks.

Bishop Gorman 20, Clark 0 — At Clark, Darian Pancirov was 3-for-3 with a triple, a double and six RBIs as the Gaels rolled the Chargers in three innings.

Mia Weckel scored four times for the Gaels, who plated 10 in the first inning.
