A 31-year-old man pleaded guilty this week to pimping charges on the second day of jury selection.
Christopher Thomas on Tuesday said he was guilty of one felony count each of pandering, coercion and living from the earnings of a prostitute.
As part of a deal, prosecutors dropped one count of sex trafficking and living from the earnings of a prostitute.
Thomas was one of the first people to be charged under Nevada’s new sex trafficking law aimed at locking up pimps for lengthy prison terms.
He is set to be sentenced May 12 before District Judge Doug Smith. Thomas faces between one and 15 years in prison.
