A beginner’s guide to sports betting math

Sports betting can be as serious as bettors want it to be. Some people study a game for seven days before placing a wager. Others glance at the board for seven seconds before crafting a five-team parlay.

For those who want to take betting more seriously, here is an introduction to some of the basic math that helps bettors make better wagers.
