8:21 p.m.: That’s it on a day of wild comebacks and upsets. Underdogs went 9-3-1 against the spread and six scored outright wins, including the Cardinals rallying to beat the Raiders as 5½-point underdogs. The Dolphins (+3½ at Ravens), Jets (+6½ at Browns), Jaguars (+3 vs. Colts), Giants (+1 vs. Panthers) and Cowboys (+7 vs. Bengals) also pulled off upsets.

Totals went 9-4 to the under.

Thanks for reading.

Betting results for every game — full game, first half and second half — are listed at the bottom of this story, along with some key boxscore stats.

8:08 p.m.: FINAL: Packers 27, Bears 10. The Packers quiet their critics and ride their running game to a decisive victory as 10-point chalk. The game stayed under the total of 41½.

7:45 p.m.: Justin Fields is held out of the end zone and the call stands after video review. The Packers lead the Bears 24-10.

7:15 p.m.: The Bears convert the Green Bay fumble into a field goal and trail 24-10 with 5:11 remaining in the third quarter. The live spread is Packers -4000 (Bears +1400), total 48½.

6:47 p.m.: Second-half line: Packers -3 (-120), total 20.

6:44 p.m.: HALFTIME: Packers 24, Bears 7. First-half winners: Packers -7, over 20½. Packers running back Aaron Jones scored twice, and quarterback Aaron Rodgers has two touchdown passes.

6:42 p.m.: R-E-L-A-X. The Packers have it clicking and lead 24-7 late in the second quarter. Aaron Rodgers fired his second TD pass.

6:25 p.m.: The Packers figured out they need to lean on running back Aaron Jones and stop throwing. He scores his second touchdown and Green Bay leads 17-7. The Packers are -1200 on the live line (Bears +700), total 49½.

5:58 p.m.: Aaron Jones caps a nine-play, 75-yard drive. The Packers didn’t look like a team having issues behind the scenes on that march. It’s 10-7 Green Bay in the opening minute of the second quarter. The Packers are -450 on the live line (Bears +340), total 49½.

5:55 p.m.: END OF THE FIRST QUARTER: Bears 7, Packers 3. Green Bay is -320 on the live line (Bears +250), total 46½.

5:45 p.m.: Justin Fields takes it himself and the Bears lead the Packers 7-3 with 4:37 left in the first quarter. Green Bay looks like a team having issues behind the scenes. The book disagrees and has the Packers -240 on the live line (Bears +195), total 46½.

5:18 p.m.: A bettor at @BetMGM wagered $80,000 on the Packers (-500) to win $16,000.

5:11 p.m.: Now seeing 41½ for the total.

5:08 p.m.: The final game of the day:

— Bears (+375) at Packers (-10, 42, -450), 5:25 p.m.

4:56 p.m.: FINAL: Cardinals 29, Raiders 23, OT. The Raiders ran out of gas in the fourth quarter and overtime, losing as 5½-point favorites. The Cardinals returned a fumble for the winning touchdown in OT. Without the extra point, the total stayed under 52½. Arizona was +200 on the money line.

4:47 p.m.: What. A. Hit.

4:33 p.m.: The two-point conversion is … good. Raiders 23, Cardinals 23 at the end of regulation. The NFL never fails to entertain.

4:31 p.m.: Josh McDaniels looks like he has a migraine after that Kyler Murray touchdown run.

4:28 p.m.: FINAL: Broncos 16, Texans 9. The teams combined for six field goals, and the Broncos were unable to cover as 10-point chalk. The game went under the total of 45.

4:25 p.m.: FINAL: Cowboys 20, Bengals 17. Cooper Rush led a drive that ended with a walk-off field goal to lift the Cowboys to the outright win as 7-point underdogs. The Bengals rallied in the second half after trailing 17-3 at halftime but lost on the final play for the second straight week. The total stayed under the number of 42.

4:09 p.m.: The Bengals have tied it up in Texas. Tee Higgins hauls in a 5-yard touchdown pass from Joe Burrow and the two-point conversion was successful. A 19-play drive that lasted nearly nine minutes. It’s 17-17 and the Bengals are -135 on the live line. The Cowboys are -130.

4:03 p.m.: FINAL: Rams 31, Falcons 27. Matthew Stafford finished with three touchdown passes, and the Rams withstood a late rally by the Falcons but failed to cover as 10-point favorites. The game went over the total of 45½.

3:57 p.m.: FINAL: 49ers 27, Seahawks 7. 49ers quarterback Trey Lance was carted off early in the first quarter with a right ankle injury. But Jimmy Garoppolo threw for one score and ran for another, as the 49ers covered -8½. The total stayed under 39½.

3:45 p.m.: Falcons are in business after recovering a fumble. What a turn of events in Los Angeles.

3:42 p.m.: Touchdown, Falcons. Blocked punt. Rams are no longer covering with 4:57 to play in the fourth quarter. It’s 31-25. The Rams are -700 on the live line (Falcons +575).

2:46 p.m.: HALFTIME: Cowboys 17, Bengals 3. First-half winners: Cowboys +4, under 21. The Cowboys kicked a late field goal, but it wasn’t enough to send the total over.

2:44 p.m.: HALFTIME: Raiders 20, Cardinals 0. First-half winners: Raiders -3, under 25½. Derek Carr picked apart the Cardinals defense, but the total stayed under.

2:33 p.m.: Greg Gumbel: “Throwing on the run, Murray came up short on that pass down the sideline.” LOL. Murray. Short.

2:32 p.m.: Second-half line: 49ers -1, total 19½.

2:30 p.m.: HALFTIME: 49ers 20, Seahawks 0. First-half winners: 49ers -6, push 20. Fullback Kyle Juszczyk punched it in from 1 yard out with 1:26 remaining in the second quarter and the extra point pushed the total.

2:27 p.m.: Second-half line: Rams -3½, total 21½.

2:24 p.m.: HALFTIME: Rams 21, Falcons 3. First-half winners: Rams -7, over 21½. The Rams came up with a late interception, and Cooper Kupp hauled in a pass from Matthew Stafford with 14 seconds left in the second quarter to send the total over.
