UNLV hopes to take advantage of a Hawaii defense that allows more than 200 yards rushing per game. Rebels running back Lexington Thomas is coming off a 133-yard, two-touchdown game at San Diego State.

Fresno State never let UNLV’s offense get going in a 48-3 victory over the Rebels on Saturday at Sam Boyd Stadium. It was the Rebels’ sixth consecutive defeat.
UNLV’s opponent Saturday, Fresno State, leads the Mountain West with allowing 13.5 points per game. The Bulldogs also have held their past 19 opponents to 30 points or fewer, tops in the nation.
Fresno State cracked The Associated Press’ poll at No. 20 this week and the Amway Coaches Poll at No. 23, the first time since 2013 the Bulldogs appeared in both rankings.
