CARSON CITY — Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will appear Aug. 26 at a fundraiser for the Nevada GOP at Lake Tahoe.
He will be the special guest at the party’s Nevada Battle Ground Dinner at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe. General admission is $200 and a VIP table is $5,000.
Trump last visited Nevada on June 18, when he held a rally at Treasure Island in Las Vegas that drew 1,600 people. His running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, was in Carson City earlier this month and will visit Henderson on Wednesday.
Trump will be at Lake Tahoe just a few days before President Barack Obama also visits Stateline. Obama will speak Aug. 31 at the 20th Lake Tahoe Summit hosted by U.S. Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev.
