Kim Kardashian and Kanye West announce baby boy’s name — POLL

Fans had been tweeting ideas for names for the new son of reality star Kim Kardashian and her rapper husband, Kanye West. The couple announced the birth Saturday, which means their daughter North now has a younger brother.

The couple chose a name not many — if any — suggested.  They announced Monday via Twitter they named their son Saint. 

There was much consternation and late-night jokes when daughter North West was born and named two years ago. The couple early on announced they would be having a boy but have been less forthcoming about his name.

Kardashian has been much more open about the complications she endured with her first pregnancy, including preeclampsia, which made getting pregnant again challenging, she said. Both of her pregnancies have been documented on her family's E! reality show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."

The Kardashian family is well-known for going with "K" names -- at least for the girls. In addition to Kim, there is her sister Khloe and Kourtney and their younger sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner, who were born during the marriage of their mother, Kris, and Bruce Jenner, now Caitlyn Jenner.
