Horse hit and killed by tractor-trailer in east Las Vegas Valley

No one was injured when a horse was struck by a tractor-trailer on the east side of the valley Tuesday morning.
It’s unclear why the horse was on Nellis Boulevard, north of Owens Avenue, just after 9:30 a.m.
The horse died on the scene and its remains have been cleared from the road.
