One injured in North Las Vegas crash

A crash in North Las Vegas on Saturday morning sent one person to the hospital, police said.

Just after 7 a.m., a car crashed and rolled over on the 2500 block of West Craig Road, between Simmons and Clayton Streets, spokeswoman Ann Cavaricci said. The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to University Medical Center.

Police are investigating suspected impairment, she said.

Traffic heading east on West Craig road is closed, while traffic heading west is restricted to one lane, according to a tweet from the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada.

As of 10 a.m, all traffic in both directions has been cleared — all lanes are open, Cavaricci said.
