Rollover crash injures 3 at Desert Inn, east of Paradise

A rollover crash injured at least three people, one critically, in the central valley Wednesday afternoon, the Clark County Fire Department said.

About 3:30 p.m., the fire department responded to reports of a vehicle that rolled over on Desert Inn Road just east of Paradise Road, Deputy Fire Chief Jeff Buchanan said.

“Upon arrival, personnel reported a rollover traffic accident with 4 vehicles involved,” Buchanan said. Firefighters extricated one person trapped in the vehicle.

“There were 3 patients total reported,” Buchanan said. One person was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in critical condition.

Metropolitan Police Department, which also responded to the crash, said Desert Inn is shut down between Paradise and Swenson Street.

No further details were immediately available.
