Three displaced in Tuesday fire

Three people were displaced after a home near Buffalo Drive and Windmill Lane caught fire Tuesday afternoon, said Jeff Buchanan, Clark County Fire Department deputy fire chief.
Firefighters arrived just before 2 p.m. at the home on the 8100 block of Altamont Ridge Street and found smoke and flames on the house’s second floor.
No injuries were reported but one adult and two children were displaced by the fire, Buchanan said. The cause of the fire, which resulted in about $75,000 in damages, is under investigation.
