Got opinions on Henderson’s future? Let the city in on them through its latest survey

Henderson wants to hear from its residents about what they think should be the city’s long-term goals.

On Monday, the city unveiled a new survey to gather that input, which can accessed at www.hendersonstrong.org.

The survey is the second the city has commissioned as part of its Henderson Strong Plan, an initiative aimed at improving Henderson’s economic resilience and competitiveness. The first survey held last fall indicated that Henderson residents valued education, safe communities and their parks over other areas of concern, according to a press release from a city spokesman.

“Your continued input is critical in helping shape the long-term vision for Henderson’s future,” Community Development and Services director Stephanie Garcia-Vause said in the release. “Our new survey is now underway and we want you to tell us how the Henderson Strong plan can respond to the concerns of our community and build a brighter tomorrow.”

The survey will close on May 31.
