Table 34 serves flavor in style just off the Las Vegas Strip

Not far from the glitz of the Las Vegas Strip, Table 34 keeps the glamour alive for locals at a more casual level.

Serving a variety of American dishes, the restaurant at 600 E. Warm Springs Road focuses on using high-quality ingredients while placing a strong emphasis on customer service.

Co-owner and chef Wes Kendrick moved to Las Vegas from California in 1999 to help open the former Wild Sage Cafe, which is now home to Table 34. When the cafe eventually closed, Kendrick jumped at the opportunity to reopen the space with his own restaurant. He reeled in the help of his sister, Laurie, who was opening Spago with Wolfgang Puck. Over the next decade, the duo set out and achieved culinary greatness.

Lunch runs from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and includes salads, sandwiches, pizzas, pastas and entrees, such as the marinated vegetable salad with quinoa, mozzarella and balsamic glaze; barbecue chicken served in a chipotle wrap with fried onions, lettuce and tomatoes; seared Scottish salmon prepared in cauliflower puree and lemon-dill butter; and Italian sausage pizza topped with sweet peppers and roasted garlic.

Most lunch dishes range from $6.50 to $18.50.

Dinner is served from 5 to 9:30 p.m. and includes appetizers, soups, salads, pizzas, pastas and entrees, such as the Buffalo fried shrimp with coleslaw; crispy bacon and Gouda pizza topped with wilted spinach and mushrooms; chicken linguini tossed with garlic cream sauce, spinach and tomatoes; and grilled pork chops with chipotle potato puree, asparagus and a hard cider glaze.

Most dinners range between $8.25 and $36.50.

While on the pricey side, the restaurant is a great place to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. With no kids’ menu, it’s also ideal for a date night while the baby sitter watches the children.

Table 34 is open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and for dinner from 5 to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Happy hour runs from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
