Protecting Nevada’s Seniors: The free public event is planned from 10 a.m. to noon March 14 at the Doolittle Community Center, 1950 J St. The Contractors Board is joining forces with local, state, and community partners to raise awareness of different forms of elder abuse, common scams targeting the elderly, and offer tips and resources available to assist seniors in identifying warning signs and how to protect themselves. This interactive panel discussion includes a vendor fair and light refreshments.
