Las Vegas veteran injured in Iraq to be honored at event in Henderson

Adam Poppenhouse, a 33-year-old Las Vegas veteran who served in the Army after he graduated from high school in 2004, will be honored from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday at Henderson Events Plaza amphitheater at an event sponsored by the city of Henderson and One Hero At A Time, a local volunteer group.
