Updated September 27, 2017 - 3:40 pm

Gambling might take a big bite out of your wallet, but flying out of McCarran International Airport won’t, according to a study released this week by RewardExpert.com, an online company that connects consumers with travel deals.

McCarran International was ranked as the second-least expensive airport in the United States, averaging $227.50 for domestic fares, according to the report. Ground transportation costs for the airport were also cited, with $2 for a bus ride, $20 for an average taxi ride and $10 daily to park in the economy lot.

RewardExpert.com compared 45 airports based on ground transportation, airline ticket prices, amenities and food.

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport was ranked as the least expensive airport nationally, followed by McCarran, Orlando International, Phoenix Sky Harbor and Tampa International. The most expensive airports were New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International, John F. Kennedy International in New York, Washington Dulles International, Minneapolis-St. Paul International and Los Angeles International.
