Citadel Broadcasting plans special award

Citadel Broadcasting Corp., a Las Vegas-based AM and FM radio broadcaster, said its board declared a special cash distribution of $2.46 a share hinging on the close of its planned merger with ABC Radio Holdings.

In a statement, Citadel said the amount will be payable to shareholders of record as of the second trading day before the deal’s close.

The company said it expects to record date to be June 8. The company expects the merger to close on June 12.

Southland Industries Fire Protection named Robert Brummett senior vice president/division leader, Kish Marler as preconstruction executive and Jim Madrid operations manager.

Kolesar & Leatham, a Las Vegas law firm, named Matthew Christian attorney.

Intellibed opened a store at 5770 Centennial Center Blvd. It’s the company’s its fourth Southern Nevada store.

Clark County Credit Union named Cathy Thomas mortgage loan processor at its Tenaya branch.

Blue Heron, a Las Vegas-based homebuilder, named Marianne Kain sales executive.

Investors Capital Network, a trust deed investment firm, opened at 8972 Spanish Ridge Ave., Suite 101 and named George Serrecchia president and chief underwriter; Troy Freeman vice president and chief investment officer; Angela Heck operations manager; and Catherine Garcia client service manager.
