Silver State Bancorp added to stock index
Silver State Bancorp of Henderson on Monday said that it was added to the Russell Microcap Index.
The index is used as a barometer for microcap or small companies that are not part of the less-regulated Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board and Pink Sheets stocks.
According to Russell Investments' Web site, the index includes 1,000 of the smallest securities in the small-cap Russell 2000 Index based on a combination of their market cap and current index membership.
Silver State shares trade on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker SSBX.
