Work continues as T-Mobile Arena readies for opening — PHOTOS

Work continues on the T-Mobile Arena near New York-New York on the Strip.

On Monday, employees were working on the Toshiba digital signage at the front of the arena. They were also installing a massive scoreboard in the center of the arena. They were also putting in the seating in the lower deck and finishing the suites.

T-Mobile bought the naming rights to the arena in January. The $375 million projectd is being built by MGM Resorts International and Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG).

The 20,000-seat arena opens April 6.

Adelson deal to buy Dallas Mavericks could be completed in coming weeks

“The families are targeting a closing of the transaction by year-end, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions and approval of the NBA Board of Governors,” said a statement released by the Adelson and Dumont families.

When will the Strip be back to normal?

Strip attractions are slowly returning to normal from the Formula One race with trees returning to the Bellagio and a promise that gondoliers will be back in front of The Venetian by early December.
