For many, everyday can be National Donut Day, but there’s only one “official” day of the year that is solely dedicated to the sweet treat — June 3.
If you were looking for an excuse to indulge in a box of doughnuts, Friday is your lucky day. To help you celebrate National Doughnut Day, here are 10 places in the Las Vegas Valley serving up fresh donuts:
Ace Donuts
With flavors like red velvet, peanut butter-filled and Cinnamon Toast Crunch, it’s likely Ace Donuts, 9435 W. Tropicana Ave., will have a donut for whatever your tastebuds are craving.
Donut Bar
This San Diego staple opened up in downtown Las Vegas, 124 S. 6th St., in the spot where O Face Donuts was previously located. On National Donut Day, Donut Bar is giving away one free Birthday Cake Donut to each guest that stops by its shop.
Donut Mania
Even the sweetest sweet tooth will be pleased by Donut Mania, 4460 S. Durango Dr. Donuts from this shop are topped with candy, pretzels and cereal pieces.
Glaze Donuts
From maple bacon and green tea pistachio to taro coconut and strawberry shortcake, the options are almost endless at Glaze Donuts, 6545 S. Fort Apache Rd.
Herbs & Rye
Sure, it’s an unlikely recommendation for donuts, but Herbs & Rye, 3713 W. Sahara Ave., serves up a warm donut dessert that rivals many. These sugary treats are topped with caramel and white chocolate sauce.
Real Donuts
Real Donuts, 1811 W. Charleston Blvd., gets creative with its donuts. Not only do they create green donuts for St. Patrick’s Day, but they also create “Happy Birthday” specialties.
Ronald’s Donuts
Ronald’s Donuts, 4600 Spring Mountain Rd., has more vegan donuts than anyone else around. If you’re planning to visit, keep in mind that it’s cash only.
Pawn Donut and Coffee
As if rocky road donuts weren’t impressive enough, Pawn Donut, 725 Las Vegas Boulevard South, also creates donuts that look like panda bears.
Pink Box Doughnuts
Pink Box has multiple locations in the valley, but its Summerlin location, 7531 W. Lake Mead Blvd., serves up gourmet doughnuts 24 hours, seven day a week.
Yuki Shaved Ice
Combining the best of both worlds — ice cream and donuts — Yuki Shaved Ice, 8414 Farm Rd., packs its donuts full of ice cream and tops them with chocolate syrup.
